widgets for a customer deployment—they write algorithms that make money. Our technologists are passionate about the financial markets. However, industry experience, or an educational focus in finance, is not a prerequisite.

What we look for on resumes:
- Proficiency and experience with technology (Java, C++, Perl, VBA, Excel);
- Quantitative and mathematical aptitude and training (include GPA, courses, & test scores); and
- Evidence of a strong work ethic and a pattern of success.
